Roxy is a highly experienced industry professional with 20 years of knowledge, expertise and insights to place at the service of ViVA clients. With a career that spans both the client and agency side of business as well as two entrepreneurial ventures, Roxy understands Hispanic and Latin American advertising and marketing communications from almost every angle and point of view.
Over her career, Roxy has focused on and developed special expertise in the telecommunications, packaged consumer goods, QSR, beer and spirits, tobacco, credit cards, banking/financial and pharmaceutical industries. The extensive list of international brands and accounts she's worked on includes Nokia, Lucky Strike, Hewlett Packard, Sony Ericsson, Grey Goose, Pert Plus, Head & Shoulders and Tampax (under the Procter & Gamble banner); Johnny Walker Black Label plus Gatorade, Phillip Morris (for Marlboro) and Viagra for Pfizer.
Roxy's launched her career in marketing communications as the Brand Manager for the financial holding, Consolidado Group in her native Venezuela. Then she moved up to become Client Services Director for Leo Burnett, where she stayed for 7 years and then later to Regional Account Director for Bates Miami. On the client side, she also held the position of Communications Manager for British American Tobacco in Venezuela with responsibilities for Lucky Strike, Kent and Belmont brands.
